Arrive in Delhi and check into the hotel. Retire for the day early so that you are full of energy for the sightseeing tour around the city, the next day. Post-breakfast embark on sightseeing tours of the city. Begin with the Old Delhi area and visit the attractions like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk. Proceed towards New Delhi and visit the Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Proceed towards Rajasthan on the 3rd day of the Heritage Tour of Rajasthan and Gujarat trail. Arrive in Jaipur and embark on half day city tours across the city. Explore the areas in the vicinity of the hotel and catch a glimpse of the spirit of the city. In the evening explore the markets of Jaipur that sell a number of local handicraft items.
Reserve the entire day for sightseeing in and around the city. Begin with an excursion to the Amer fort located about 15 km from the city. Later on, travel back to Jaipur and visit the attractions like the Hawa Mahal, City Palace complex, Birla Mandir (also known as the Lakshmi Narayan temple), and the Jantar Mantar.
From Jaipur move on to Mandawa. Known for its palatial mansions and the exquisite paintings in them, Mandawa tops the list of destinations in Rajasthan for tourists on art and culture vacations. The most prominent attractions here include the Goenka haveli, the Murmuria haveli, and the Jhunjhunwala haveli.
Post-breakfast on the 6th day of the tour, continue your sojourn of the heritage tour of Rajasthan and Gujarat and proceed towards Bikaner. Located in the heart of the desert land, Bikaner is fondly frequented for the Lalgarh Palace, the Junagarh Fort, and the Karni Mata temple. While here, do not miss to visit the museum housed within the Junagarh fort comprising of an exclusive collection of ancient relics, manuscripts, regional costumes, and also arms and weapons used by the rulers of the region.

The next destination in this circuit is Rohet, most noted for its tribal heritage. A jeep safari across the tribal villages will give you an insight into the rural lifestyle of the people here and also enable you an understanding of the spirit of India as a whole!
Next in line is Kumbahlgarh that you will visit on the 9th day of the tour. The most famous attractions housed here include the Kumbahlgarh fort and the wildlife sanctuary that is home to several animal and bird species.
On the 10th day continue your journey towards Udaipur, the city of lakes. Reserve the day for sightseeing within the city and visit the attractions like the City Palace complex, Saheliyon ki Baari, the Jagdish temple, and the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir. In the evening you could travel around the Udaipur markets and pick up souvenirs to carry back home.
The eleventh day of the tour would be ideal to explore the attractions located in the vicinity of Udaipur. A visit to the Eklingji temple and the Nathdwara temple on this day would more than complete your trip to the city. To bring the sojourn to a full circle, embark on boat rides on the Pichola Lake at sunset!

Post-breakfast embark on tours to the next destination, Bhavnagar. Located at a distance of about 190 km from Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar is most visited for the Takhteshwar temple, the Gandhi Smriti Museum, and the Barton library and museum.
Embark on excursions to the nearby destination Palitana, most fondly visited by devotees for its Jain temples. There are about 863 Jain temples housed here and each is more revered than the other.
On the 16th day of the tour, travel to Mumbai, the last destination in the itinerary. If you have time on hand, before you leave for the airport, you can visit a few of the popular places housed in the city.
